If you know anything about computer software, then you’ve probably heard about registry cleaners. They speed up your computer’s performance by eliminating problems within a folder called the Windows Registry. This folder contains hundreds of thousands of essential files that pertain directly to the Windows operating system.

Essentially, the Windows Registry is a record of everything you have ever done to your PC. It keeps track of all the programs you have ever installed, the settings changes you have made, and hundreds of other minute details. Since the registry keeps track of so much information, it is inevitable that some of this information will be completely unnecessary.

To get rid of this unnecessary information, you need to use a registry cleaner program, which will systematically sort through your registry files to find any ones that you no longer need. It also fixes registry files that may have been damaged by viruses or corrupted by other hard drive problems.

By getting rid of old files and fixing broken files, a registry cleaner comprehensively improves the speed and performance of your computer. It is one of the best PC optimization programs on the market, which is why so many computer experts recommend installing one on your PC as soon as possible.

Yes, registry cleaners are very easy to use!

Many people are afraid to speed up their computer because they think they could damage it. In fact, it’s very difficult to damage your computer by running PC optimization software, as these programs are designed specifically to improve the performance of your PC. And, to make your life easier, they’re also very easy to use.

Many registry cleaners have just one or two buttons you need to press before performing a scan. The download and installation process is incredibly simple, and the scan itself takes only a few minutes. If you can use your computer’s mouse (which I assume you can if you’re browsing the internet), then you won’t have any problem speeding up your computer with a good registry cleaner.

Put simply, registry cleaners are some of the best, most powerful PC optimization software programs available on the market today. To download your free Registry Cleaner Pro trial, click on the button below.

We all love using Wi-Fi hotspots: they’re an easy and ...

We all love using Wi-Fi hotspots: they’re an easy and cost-effective way to get your daily internet time whether you’re at an airport, coffee shop, or library. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi hotspots can also be very dangerous for your computer. They can be operated by scammers who want to steal your information, for example. Or, even if the scammer isn’t actually running the network, someone could be actively monitoring the Wi-Fi network to view your banking information, email passwords, social media data, and more.

For all of those reasons, it’s important that you take some precaution before connecting to a Wi-Fi network. Here are our top 5 favorite ways to secure your computer when using a wireless network.

4) Avoid networks with strange names

If a hacker wants to lure people into using a Wi-Fi network, do you think he’s going to name it “Hacker’s Free Internet”? No, of course not! A smart hacker will use nondescript names like “Free Wi-Fi” or “Unlimited Internet Access”, which will lead users into joining the networks and having their information stolen.

In that sense, you should avoid networks that have strange names. Certain networks may promise things that are too good to be true, for example, like free unlimited high-speed internet access.

You should also check if the Wi-Fi is linked to a nearby business. Instead of connecting to “Public Wi-Fi”, connect to the network called “Frank’s Coffee House” – provided that a business called Frank’s Coffee House is located nearby. Consider asking the front desk of your hotel, or your barista, the exact name of the Wi-Fi network that the business provides.

3) Lock up your sensitive documents

A good encryption program will protect your sensitive documents from prying eyes. Even if a hacker gains access to your computer, he won’t be able to access your pictures, videos, spreadsheets, or whatever else you may have on your computer.

To do this, find a good encryption program online. There are plenty of different solutions out there, and once activated, an encryption program creates a hacker-proof wall of protection around any files you choose, meaning that the hacker will never be able to access the documents inside without guessing the password.

2) Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use

By default, your laptop or other mobile device will constantly scan for Wi-Fi networks. This not only drains your battery life, but it also exposes your PC to a greater degree of risk. You could accidentally log into a “Free Public Wi-Fi” scam network, for example, while you’re just walking around with your laptop in a bag.

If you’re done checking your email and browsing the internet, then you may want to turn off your computer’s Wi-Fi switch (usually located somewhere along the outside casing of your PC). This will ensure that your computer remains as protected as possible.

1) Always use HTTPS

Most major social media and banking websites offer “https” functionality. Instead of going to http://www.facebook.com, for example, you can navigate to https://www.facebook.com for enhanced security. The server provides an extra layer – called the Secure Socket Layer or SSL – that encrypts any traffic that you send or receive.

If you’re not browsing on an https connection, then a clever hacker can easily see what you’re doing online, especially if you’re on a free public Wi-Fi network. That information is drifting through the air for anybody to see, and before you know it, your social media passwords, banking information, and other important data may be compromised.

If you’re looking at our registry cleaner blog, then you’re probably interested in making your PC go as fast as possible. If that’s the case, then you’ll be happy to note that both Intel and AMD are expected to release next-generation processors later this spring.

With faster speed, better battery usage, and thinner cores, Intel and AMD continue to battle for control of the global processor market. Here is what each company has planned for this spring:

Intel Ivy Bridge

According to reports, Intel’s much anticipated Ivy Bridge processor for notebooks and desktops will be available for sale on April 29. Ivy Bridge features new quad-core chips based on the i5 and i7 models that are expanded to expand performance by a significant amount. Specifically, Ivy Bridge is expected to provide a 10% boost to CPU performance and as much as a 50% boost to graphic performance.

Ivy Bridge will be used in mobile devices, desktops, and notebooks. Consumers can expect to see the newest line of powerful Ivy Bridge laptops released later this spring. However, we may have to wait until at least June for Ultrabooks with Ivy Bridge processors (which is when Intel is expected to announce its low-power models of the Core i5 and Core i7 chips.

AMD Trinity

Just a couple weeks after Ivy Bridge’s release, AMD is expected to release its new Trinity chips, which follow in the footsteps of the recent Llano generation of processors. The launch is expected to include a mixture of desktop and notebook processors, as well as a line of thinner, lighter chips that use less battery and will be ideal for mobile devices.

This is good news for fans of AMD: Intel has had a stranglehold on the new Ultrabook market with its small but powerful processors, and Trinity is expected to steal some of that market away from Intel.

What does this mean for you?

If you want to buy a fast, high-performance laptop, then you may want to wait a couple months: with two fantastic new processors set to be released over the coming weeks, consumers are going to be the ones who experience the most benefit.

On the other hand, if you’re not in the market for a new processor or laptop, then you might want to install a good registry cleaner on your PC. While it won’t provide the performance boost of a CPU upgrade, it will increase your computer’s performance in hundreds of different ways in order to create a smoother, more enjoyable user experience.

While IT firms often focus their attention on landing contracts ...

While IT firms often focus their attention on landing contracts with big businesses, recent research has suggested that may not be the best approach. Spending by small and medium sized businesses on IT services has significantly increased over the last few years, perhaps signalling a trend towards smaller, mobile businesses in an industry that is changing every single day.

During the dark days of 2008 and 2009, spending on IT-related services by small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) shrunk to a dismal low. Now, in 2012, SMB IT spending is expected to reach an all-time high of $138 billion – far eclipsing the losses that the industry was dealt during the recessionary years.

Small and medium sized businesses (those with 999 employees or fewer) spend differently than large-sized businesses (those with over 1000 employees). While large businesses spend over 50% of their IT budgets on IT services, smaller businesses devote a greater portion to computers, peripherals, and related equipment costs.

They’re also some of the largest consumers of packaged IT software, with over one-third of SMB IT spending going towards that market.

What can software manufacturers and IT service providers learn from this data? Well, if you want your business to meet the demands of the market, then you’re going to need to cater to small and medium sized companies. While getting a huge contract from a large business is always a good thing, IT firms who want to capitalize on their growth should start advertising to SMBs as well.

It can also be seen as a sign of the times: today, businesses that can quickly adapt to the changing IT environment will survive longer than those that cannot. With computer technology changing at an increasingly more rapid pace, smaller and medium sized companies could be becoming the new economic powerhouses.

This information comes from the International Data Corporation (IDC) and the Wall Street Journal. The IDC is the world’s leading provider of statistical information for the IT industry, and uses its network of analysts, strategists, and business professionals to anticipate changing trends in the PC industry.

If you’re looking for Windows Registry optimization software, you may be momentarily overwhelmed by the number of options available to you. With so many different registry cleaner programs on the market, how do you know which ones will work best on your PC?

Well no matter what you’re using your computer for, a registry cleaner performs the same basic tasks: it will speed up your applications and your operating system in order to smooth out your computer’s performance. Whether you use your PC for gaming, work, or school (or all three), a registry cleaner can make the time you spend on the computer that much more enjoyable.

Here are a few tasks that a registry cleaner performs:

Deletes old registry files: After you uninstall a program, its registry entries may still be on your computer. These are clogging up space on your hard drive and dragging down performance. A registry cleaner recognizes registry entries that don’t belong to any installed program and will delete them.

Removes corrupt registry entries: Sometimes, registry entries become damaged. This can be the result of a virus, hard drive problems, or hundreds of other computer issues. When a registry entry is corrupt, it creates all sorts of serious problems on your PC.

Solves error messages: Most computers have at least one annoying error message. You might see it when you start up your PC, or when you fire up a certain program. This error message may prevent a program from running properly or even starting up at all. At the very least, these error messages are annoying and distracting. By fixing problematic registry entries, a Windows Registry optimization program can remove these error message from your PC.

General optimization: As your Windows Registry grows (which it does any time you change something on your computer), its entries will move farther and farther apart. This makes it harder for your hard drive to find the files it needs and has a negative impact on your computer’s performance.

And much more: These are just a few of the things that a good registry optimization program can do. By performing a scan today, you can unlock faster, smoother performance on your PC.

One of the main benefits of using a registry cleaner ...

One of the main benefits of using a registry cleaner is the fact that it repairs damage to the Windows Registry. What does that mean? And how does registry damage occur? Today, we’re going to answer those questions.

User error

One of the main causes of registry damage is user error. Even advanced PC users can get into trouble when fiddling around with registry settings. Because the registry controls some of the most important settings on your computer, changing just one registry entry can have negative effects on your entire operating system. When users try to repair registry problems on their own, it can cause serious damage.

Using a bad (free) registry cleaner

Another leading cause of registry damage is the use of poorly designed registry cleaners. Often, these registry cleaners are free, and when people use them to fix their registry, they can erroneously delete certain important registry files.

Because the registry cleaner is poorly designed, it labels some harmless files as being problematic, and some problematic files as being safe. By deleting the wrong registry file, the registry cleaner can have a seriously negative impact on your PC’s performance, and may even prevent certain programs from starting up.

The impacts of registry damage

The Windows Registry has configuration data about every program on your computer. So, when it becomes damaged, it can negatively impact the performance of all your programs. In some cases, programs may refuse to start up, or display annoyingly vague error messages. In other cases, it can create holes in your system’s security that a virus can exploit.

Put simply, when damage occurs to your registry, it poses a serious risk to your entire system, and it’s important to fix this damage as soon as possible.

How do I fix registry damage?

Fixing registry damage isn’t difficult, provided you have a good, high-quality registry cleaner. A good registry cleaner will fix the problems created by both user error and poor-quality registry cleaners in order to give your computer a performance boost.

A high-quality registry cleaner like Registry Cleaner Pro 2012 is able to recognize the difference between good and bad registry entries. It has a database filled with some of the world’s most common registry problems, and is able to use this data to troubleshoot problems on your PC. It can remove dangerous forms of malware like rootkits and comprehensively protects your PC in a number of different ways.

After performing a scan with a good registry cleaner, you can expect faster, smoother performance on your computer at all times. Your startup times could decrease and the time it takes to switch between applications may also be reduced.

Put simply, the performance benefits of a good registry cleaner are limitless. To unlock the potential within your PC, download Registry Cleaner Pro 2012 today!

Today’s viruses are smarter than they have ever been in ...

Today’s viruses are smarter than they have ever been in the past. They use advanced hacking technology to gain access to your system before installing themselves on some of the most critical parts of your hard drive. Once there, they can be extremely difficult to remove.

To make matters worse, even the smartest PC users have started to become victims of dangerous viruses. Even websites that you trust can be infected by a virus, and today, more and more types of malware are spread through social media websites like Twitter and Facebook. All you have to do is click on one link and your computer could be infected. Your computer can even contract a virus just by clicking on an image on Google image search.

Put simply, no matter how much experience you have with computers, you can never be 100% safe from malware infections.

A system restore fixes all my virus problems, right?

Of course, computer-savvy people like to argue that, even if they did get a virus, they could backup all their important files and perform a system restore in order to rescue their PC. This removes your operating system and all programs from your hard drive so that the user can perform a clean install.

While a system restore is an easy and effective way to remove simple viruses, some viruses are able to get around it. Yes, that’s right: some viruses can survive on your hard drive even when you perform a complete system restore. This new strain of malware is called a ‘bootkit’, and it is one of the most dangerous types of viruses available on the internet today.

A bootkit is a type of rootkit, which means that it lodges itself deep within your computer to a level where even the best antivirus programs have trouble getting rid of it. A bootkit, however, is particularly difficult to remove because it implants itself within your computer’s core system files by modifying the boot-up process.

How do I stay protected?

Bootkits have been around for a few years, and as of yet, there are very few ways to defend your system against them. Surprisingly, registry cleaner have been shown to remove several common bootkits from your system and are an effective way of protecting your computer’s core boot-up files.

By cleaning the Windows Registry – which contains data about your system’s startup sequence and other program configuration information – you may be able to remove bootkits from your computer.

Rootkits and bootkits are difficult to detect because they lie silently on your hard drive for days, weeks, or even months before they become active. Your computer could be infected right now without you even knowing about it. To make sure your PC is free of rootkits, download your free scan of Registry Cleaner Pro 2012 today.

Registry cleaners are a popular way to speed up your ...

Registry cleaners are a popular way to speed up your computer. But if you’re reading our blog on Reigstry-Cleaner.org, then you probably already know all about the benefits of using a registry cleaner. Whether you have one installed on your computer or not, you may have wondered if there’s any downside to using a registry cleaner.

After all, many good things in life seem to have some hidden catch. You can go on a trip to Europe, but it’s expensive, or you can buy a new TV, but it uses a lot more energy than your old one. What’s the secret ‘catch’ behind registry cleaners?

Well, depending on the quality of the registry cleaner you buy, there are a few different problems that users could encounter. Here are some of the ‘catches’ to using a registry cleaner:

A free registry cleaner could install malware on your PC: Unfortunately on the internet, very few people give things away for free. Or if they do give it away for free, it’s either being shared illegally, or they want something in return. When you download a free registry cleaner, you may be opening up your PC to dangerous malware infections or other problems. Virus creators know that many people will want to download a free registry cleaner as opposed to paying for one, so they often advertise their program as a ‘free’ registry cleaner in order to lure people in.

A bad registry cleaner may not actually speed up your PC: Registry cleaners aren’t always effective, but that doesn’t mean that cleaning your registry is a bad idea. Instead, it comes down to the quality of the registry cleaner that you download. Poor quality registry cleaners will have only a minimal performance impact on your PC, while higher quality ones will noticeably improve your PC’s performance.

That’s it!

Other than those two downsides, there isn’t really a ‘catch’ to using a registry cleaner, especially if you choose a good one like Registry Cleaner Pro 2012. Registry cleaner are some of the safest and most effective PC optimization programs on the market today, and performing a scan on your computer can drastically increase your performance.

If you’re reading this blog, then you probably already know some basic information about registry cleaners. If you don’t, here is everything you need to know: registry cleaners are one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to improve the performance of any PC. Used by both computer experts and newbies alike, registry cleaners enhance the stability and security of your system in order to create a smoother user experience.

But you may have wondered how a registry cleaner actually ‘cleans’ your registry. Do parts of your computer really need to be cleaned? What’s the difference between cleaning and optimization? Today, we’re going to answer those questions for you.

Think of a registry cleaner as a magic wand. As it scans over your registry, it identifies specific problem areas. These could include corrupt registry entries, missing data, or other major problems. With a quick flick of the wand, these problematic registry entries are completely removed from your system, effectively ‘cleaning’ out that area of your computer.

As you probably know, the cleaner your computer is, the faster it will run. With fewer junk files to sort through, your hard drive can quickly and smoothly find the data it needs to operate the programs you use every day. Since your registry is constantly being accessed by your operating system and all of your programs, computer users should notice a significant boost in performance after running a registry scan.

A registry cleaner does exactly what the name suggests: it cleans your registry in order to repair corrupt files and remove older ones. It’s like spring cleaning for your computer, except that you can perform a scan every week. If you’re ready to see how a registry cleaner can benefit your computer, download your free scan by clicking the link below.

If you have ever wanted to squeeze extra performance out ...

If you have ever wanted to squeeze extra performance out of your computer, then you may have discovered the enormous potential of registry cleaners. As one of the fastest, easiest, and most effective ways to speed up your PC, registry cleaners can be found on the PCs of millions of people around the world.

But what if you didn’t want to pay a lot of money for your registry cleaner? What if you wanted to get it for free? While it’s important to be smart about your money (especially in this economy), downloading a free registry cleaner can actually cause more harm to your computer than good. Here are a few reasons why:

Nobody on the internet does something for free

The internet is a huge place, and as soon as somebody starts offering a product for free, users swarm in to take advantage of it. Unfortunately, this gives the owner of the product little incentive to continue selling the product. After all, that person is receiving no economic benefit from all of those free downloads.

For that reason, the people who release free registry cleaners online will always find a way to make money out of your free download. They could try to upsell you on other product offers, or add your email address into their daily advertisement mailing system.

However, these are the most innocent things that the creator of a free registry cleaner will do. In more dangerous cases, the people who make free registry cleaners do so for the sole purpose of stealing your information. Once installed on your computer, these ‘free’ registry cleaners actively scan your system, monitoring your documents and internet usage for any personal data. Then, when they’ve collected what they need, they sell that information to advertisers for a huge profit.

Put simply, a free registry cleaner always has some hidden cost, and as pessimistic as it may seem, it’s rare to find somebody on the internet who will do something out of the goodness of their heart.

Free registry cleaners are virtually useless

Some so-called ‘tech experts’ claim that registry cleaners do not actually improve the performance of your PC. In most cases, these people have only ever used free registry cleaners, which provide a very limited performance boost. Free registry cleaners are always worse than programs that you actually pay for, and if you really want to speed up your computer, then you should be prepared to shell out a little extra cash.

No extra features

Often, people don’t mind paying for registry cleaners because they come loaded with extra features. A program like Registry Cleaner Pro, for example, is so much more than just a registry cleaner: it’s an all-in-one computer optimization tool. These extra features are often included free of charge, which means that paying a little extra money today can generate a lot of reward for your computer.

Limited tech support

One of the benefits of paying for a registry cleaner is the tech support you receive. If you’re not a computer genius, this tech support can be a lifesaver. They can walk you through any computer problems you may be having and show you exactly what you need to do to speed up your PC. While registry cleaners are usually easy to use, the Windows Registry itself can be complicated, and tech support experts are always happy to help you out.

The bottom line

For all of these reasons, people don’t mind paying a little extra money for a good registry cleaner. Just remember: when you download a free registry cleaner, you’re exposing your computer to quite a bit of risk, and when the security of your system is compromised, there is no limit to the kinds of dangerous things that could happen.

Registry Cleaner Pro currently offers a free scan. After identifying various problem areas on your computer, Registry Cleaner Pro will show the user how much of a performance boost you can receive by cleaning your registry right now. If the user likes what they see, they can choose to order the full program for a very low price.
